We’re proud to host Edinburgh’s first Guinness Beer Garden, complete with colourful Guinness memorabilia across one of the city’s greatest people-watching locations.
Other drinks are of course available – beers, spritzes, wine, spirits, Irish whiskeys and more! Order your favourite drink at the bar and head outside to catch a few rays.
Walk-Ins Welcome - No Booking Needed
Our Leith beer garden is open every day from 11am for walk-ins only; just rock up, grab a seat, and we’ll take care of the rest. Whether you’re catching up with mates, chasing the sun while it’s out, or just looking for a proper pint in the open air, we’ve got you.
Beer Garden FAQs
Malones Leith's beer garden terrace is a great choice. It's vibrantly decorated with colourful Guinness memorabilia, has a self-pour Guinness machine and is only a few steps away from The Shore tram stop.
Mara is also an excellent choice. It's garden terrace overlooks the Water of Leith for a picturesque view while you soak in the summer sun.
The garden opens when we open at 11am every day for you early risers, and closes at 10pm daily.
We are not taking bookings for our beer garden at this time but do welcome walk-ins.
The Guinness Beer Garden is at the front door of Malones Leith. We're directly at The Shore Tram Stop, making us easy to get to wherever you are in Edinburgh.
No table service, but the main bar is only a short walk away.
Our entire range of drinks is available including Guinness, tank Tennent's, wine, summer spritzes, spirits, soft drinks and hot drinks.
