Our open jam sessions are free to join. We are happy to welcome anyone and everyone who brings an instrument to join in the fun.

Edinburgh Jam Session FAQs
Malones Leith has a great jam session in Edinburgh on the first Thursday of every month. Our sessions, hosted by Harry Berry, are free to join.
Anyone who has an instrument is welcome to come along, no booking required.
We also welcome non-musicians to come along, dance, clap or just quietly enjoy the music.
We welcome any local musicians to bring their instruments and come along to perform alongside other musicians.
It's a spontaneous night where you can see live music magic happening in front of your eyes.

No, you can just rock up to one of our jam sessions without a booking. Audience members are absolutely welcome to book a table if you want to make sure you have a table, but you are also welcome to walk-in.

Yes, under 18s are welcome in Malones Leith until 10pm daily.
Yes, the sessions are completely free to attend as a musician and as an audience member.
